Browse the Node Types dialog until you can see the type icon "Point". Click the icon or use the mouse to drag the icon from the dialog to the graph, near the existing "baseCS" node.

Each node is created with a specific technique, which OpenBuildings™ GenerativeComponents chooses by default. For example, the default technique for the type Point is ByCartesianCoordinates.

Use the technique selector to change to a different technique. If a node doesn’t have a technique selector, it only has one technique.

Tip: As an alternative to clicking the node icon or dragging it onto the graph and then changing the technique, you can select a technique directly from the node pop up menu (right click on the icon in the Node Types dialog). That will create the node with the specified technique pre-selected.
